How is fuel economy calculated?

Full tank to full tank: the miles between two full fill-ups divided by everything you pumped after the first one. Partial fills roll into the next full tank. If you skipped logging a fill-up, turn on “I missed logging one” so the average isn’t skewed.

How do I move from Fuelly, Drivvo or Fuelio?

Export a CSV from the old app, open Tankful → More → Import, and pick the file. Duplicates are skipped.

How do I back up or move to a new phone?

More → Back up everything saves one file to iCloud Drive, Google Drive or Files. On the new phone, More → Restore a backup.

Why aren’t I getting reminders?

Allow notifications in More → Notifications. Reminder dates get more accurate after two weeks of fill-ups, once Tankful knows how much you drive.

Is the AI advice a substitute for an inspection?

No. It’s a well-informed second opinion from your log and typical prices. Brakes, tires and steering are always worth a look from a technician.
