Switching from Fuelly
Bring every fill-up with you in about a minute. Nothing to sign up for.
1. Export from Fuelly
Sign in at fuelly.com → your vehicle → Export (CSV). Do it once per vehicle. Drivvo, Fuelio and Simply Auto exports work too.
2. Import into Tankful
Add the vehicle in Tankful (or decode its VIN), then More → Import from Fuelly, Drivvo or Fuelio and pick the file. Dates, partial fills, missed fill-ups, notes and stations come across. Importing twice never duplicates entries.
What you get that Fuelly doesn’t
Reminders that actually notify you. Push notifications a week before and on the day, based on how much you drive, plus an app-icon badge across all your vehicles. A test button proves they work.
A real maintenance plan. The factory schedule for your exact vehicle, from engine hours on a boat to the timing belt on a V6.
Snap to log and quote checks. Photograph the pump or receipt and it fills itself in; photograph a repair estimate and see what’s needed, what can wait and what’s an upsell.
A real calendar. Enter years of old receipts without scrolling through dates.
No lock-in, no lost data. No account to get locked out of. Automatic daily backups on your phone, one-file backups to iCloud or Drive, CSV export any time. Free features stay free.
Honest differences
Fuelly has a decade of history and a big community. Tankful’s community numbers start with fueleconomy.gov’s public driver data and grow as owners opt in. Fuelly’s website works without the app; Tankful’s web app opens your synced log with your sync code.
